Some shots on Canon 550D when I was strolling around Jaén, thinking about Tools for thought in How can we develop transformative tools for thought, closely studying Stephen Wolfram‘s cognitive scaffolding in Seeking the Productive Life — Some Details of My Personal Infrastructure (Stephen Wolfram Writings), how language shapes thought, and what it means to truly learn something —by relentless repetition, by erroing over and over again until pain dissapears; Pain is information— and hence designing (mathematical) education around those mantras.
Also, just touching grass in general.
All of these shots were taken on a 55-250mm lens which is not ideal when doing commonplace phothography, given how narrow the streets are; the most interesting way of getting something worthwhile in this scenario seems to be focusing on either really small objects, or far away structures1.
This young fellow saw me with the camera and asked me for a picture — to which I happily obliged. He could barely talk any Spanish whatsoever.
